Consular Registration (Konsullik hisobi)

Staying properly registered ensures access to services (e.g., passport issuance) and helps protect your rights.

Temporary registration (for those staying abroad temporarily for work/study/treatment/family for 6+ months):
• Free of charge.
• Apply in person, by post, or online via the consular portal.
• Not available to short‑term visitors or those transiting Qatar.

Permanent registration (for citizens who left Uzbekistan for permanent residence with the required authorisations):
• Apply in person / by post / online.
• Consular fee applies per tariff.
• Provide proof you left Uzbekistan for permanent residence (e.g., exit for permanent residence authorisation/deregistration) and proof of long‑term legal stay in the foreign country.

Important: Under Uzbek law, failing to register abroad for 3 years without valid reasons can be considered grounds to lose citizenship. Always keep your consular status current and inform the Embassy about changes of address or civil status.
