International Biometric Passport  — Issue / Renew / Replace

Who can apply in Doha
• Uzbek citizens temporarily in Qatar (work/study/treatment/family reunion) for 6+ months and registered with the Embassy (temporary consular registration).
• Uzbek citizens who permanently reside abroad and are on permanent consular registration.

How to apply

  1. Fill out the online form on the official consular portal (see Useful links). Upload the required photo.
  2. Book an appointment and appear in person at the Embassy for biometric capture (fingerprints for 16+, digital photo) and document check.
  3. Pay the consular fee per tariff.
  4. The passport is produced in Uzbekistan and sent to the Embassy; you collect it in Doha.

Typical processing time
• Production and delivery are handled in Uzbekistan and usually take about 1.5–2 months, but timing can vary.

Lost / damaged / expired passport
• If your passport is lost, stolen, damaged or expired, and you must urgently travel to Uzbekistan, see “Certificate for Return to Uzbekistan” below.
• If your passport expired more than a month ago, additional explanations/penalties may apply under current rules.

For children
• Children must appear with a parent/guardian. Bring the child’s birth certificate and other documents as listed in the online form.
